Brand Photography - turned surprise proposal

Sometimes being an entrepreneur and a Momma requires you to be a multitasking expert. So a couple of weeks ago when Cory made the urgent call to book my services, I was listening to him explain how he wanted to help his girlfriend with her business while I randomly blurted out ‘get you some” to my son’s baseball team as they headed to the plate to swing. LOL.

Thankfully Cory was patient and understanding… and most importantly he was on a mission. Not only did Cory want to help Kandice grow her personal brand but he also wanted Kandice to be his wife! So with the recommendation of Louisville event and wedding planner Victoria Staton we planned a Chanel Nicole Co. Personal Brand Photo session with a twist… a surprise wedding proposal.

I am in many Facebook groups where new entrepreneurs complain about their spouses not being on board with their new venture. I know from personal experience that having a spouse to be your cheerleader and occasionally your personal assistant makes all the difference when you are growing your business. The level of confidence you gain when your boo believes in you (sometimes more than you believe in yourself) is a game-changer. So when Cory planned this special session I knew instantly that the love, commitment, and support was real!

PS. Originally Cory was going to take Kandice on a trip to Chicago to pop the question but Covid-19 stopped their travel plans. I personally think this idea was wayyyyy better! LOL, I could be biased… But this is just a friendly reminder that everything may not go as planned, but everything will happen exactly the way it should. Not even a pandemic can stop true love.
